Earlier I wrote about Allyis’ Community Impact that’s achieved through a variety of programs focusing on local charitable agencies in the Pacific Northwest that support families, community health and welfare, and the environment. This time of year can be particularly difficult for families in need and since 2003 we’ve been working with Childhaven to sponsor disadvantaged children by purchasing a toy and clothing item for each child. This year our generous employees helped 35 children.

Childhaven cares for children ages 0-5 years who have been abused and/or neglected by their families. They provide therapeutic care along with safety, love, and positive experiences for these young children. Education and support is also provided to the parents to help break the cycle of abuse and neglect that can be passed down from one generation to the next. 

We believe that it’s extremely important for Allyis to give back to the community in which we work and live, and that’s why we’ve designed our Corporate Citizenship Programs to make it easy for our employees to give back.
