You know what ails your business, but do you know the cures? We'll share our treatment ideas in the Business Rx section of our blog.
You’re looking at the newly-redesigned Allyis blog. On our old blog, every post was dumped onto the same page, regardless of what it was about. We now have distinct sections of the blog each focusing on different content areas. So, if you look up at the top, right corner you’ll see the sections we currently have defined: “Life at Allyis”, “SharePoint Info” and this section that we’re calling “Business Rx”.
The “Life at Allyis” section is where our COO, Suzette McClintock, gives you a look at what it’s really like to work here. In short, if you want to see our values on display, read the “Life at Allyis” section.
The “SharePoint Info” section of the blog is for the technically intrepid. The content of that section is produced by our SharePoint development and PM team, the men and women who deliver SharePoint solutions for our clients. They are smart people who know how to really make SharePoint hum. If you are a SharePoint developer for your company, you may find useful “how-to” tips in the “SharePoint Info” section. I hope it helps you.
Now, that brings me to the “Business Rx” section of the blog. To understand what we mean by the term “Business Rx” it might be useful to think about it this way: the “SharePoint Info” section of the blog details what we do and how we do it. The “Business Rx” section is a discussion of why we do it.
Allyis is a provider of technology, consulting, and managed services in the areas of web and SharePoint development, project and program management, marketing, and business intelligence. Those are the solutions we can prescribe for our clients to help eliminate business pain points. So the Business Rx section of our blog is the place where we will discuss the kinds of pains businesses today are often afflicted by and some of the treatments that can be applied to make those pains go away.
Our CEO, Richard Law, once summed up his philosophy by saying “I believe there is always a better way to do things” and that attitude infuses our thinking as a company. We believe that companies can move beyond the status quo of how they get their work done day to day. Often the status quo is full of inefficient and overly manual processes, frustrating information-discovery dead ends, poor knowledge transfer and the lost productivity and diminished competitiveness that can result.
I’m very certain that if pains like I’ve mentioned exist in your company, you are aware of them. But if you need to know more about what options exist to cure what ails you, our “Business Rx” section might help you. I hope it does. That’s our goal: to show you our view of how common business problems can be solved by applying the right technologies and processes.
I hope you find our blog helpful and I hope you’ll share your feedback on our ideas.
